1: TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
You now have just a two weeks to reserve your cabin for the 2009 Horne
Reunion Cruise! A deposit of $150 per person is all that is required to
secure your reservation. (Note: This is a non-refundable deposit).
Carnival will ONLY be accepting Horne Reunion Cruise reservations
through July 1, 2008. So that means time is running. After July 1, 2008,
reunion attendees we will no longer be guaranteed a cabin for the
cruise... and should cabins still be available after July 1, 2008,
reunion attendees will not be guaranteed the Horne Reunion rates quoted
below.

2: REUNION CRUISE PRICING
Carnival is quoting us the following prices. All prices are PER PERSON
and based on double occupancy. Prices include meals but do not include
fees, taxes or gratuity. These prices are guranteed through July 1,
2008. See a breakdown of fees below:
Inside Cabin: $379 + Fees
Ocean View Cabin: $429 + Fees
Junior Suite: $779 + Fees
Penthouse Suite: $879 + Fees

3: SINGLES
Cabin prices quoted above are based on double occupancy so if you
plan on attending the cruise alone (no guest) we will work to pair
you up with another single reunion attendee so you can both share a
cabin. Once we have reservations and deposits we'll publish a list
of single shipmates and more details on how this will be done.

4: PASSPORTS REQUIRED
Passports will be required for the 2009 Horne Reunion Cruise. If you
don't already have a passport now is the time to get it.

5: CRUISE ITINERARY
The following information is being provided for those who did not
receive previous Reunion Cruise Newsletters...
The USS Horne 2009 Reunion Cruise will take place onboard the 855
foot Carnival Elation. You may read more about the Election here:

The Cruise will depart San Diego on Thursday March 26, 2009 at 1600. We
spend a day at sea on Friday March 27th and arrive at Cabo San Lucas,
Mexico at 8am on Saturday March 28th. We begin our return trip Saturday
afternoon at 1600 and spend another full day at sea on Sunday March
29th. We return to San Diego at 8am on Monday March 30, 2009.
Thursday March 26th 2009 - Depart San Diego 1600
Friday March 27th - Fun Day at Sea
Saturday March 28th - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico 0800-1600
Sunday March 29th - Fun Day at Sea
Monday March 30th - Arrive San Diego 0800

Newsletter as they become available.

- Rufus served in Horne 1970-1972 and was President of the 2003 Reunion
Committee.

- Joe served in Horne 1989-1991, created and maintains USSHorne.net and
helped organize the 2003 Reunion.
